Projet personnel, dans le but de réaliser un court métrage en stop-motion

à partir de la nouvelle "Le Passe-Muraille" écrit par Marcel Aymé.

Après quelques tests de modelage de têtes ainsi que des expérimentations de structures de marionnettes, j'ai réalisé cette première armature.

Voici les étapes de réalisation de la marionnette :

 Sculpture du corps du personnage, réalisation du moule et fabrication de l'armature (fil d'aluminium recuit, tubes en alu, bois, colle), finalisation de la tête et réalisation du moule, sculpture des chaussures, réalisation du moule et armature qui permet de plier les pieds (métal, fil d'aluminium recuit et aimants), fabrication des mains (fil d'aluminium recuit, silicone)

Personal project, to make a stop-motion short film from the novel "Le Passe-Muraille" written by Marcel Aymé.

After some modeling tests of heads and experiments of puppet structures, I realized this first armature.

Here are the steps of making of the puppet:

Sculpture of the body character, making of the mold and manufacture of the armature (aluminum wire, aluminum tubes, wood, glue), end of the head and making of the mold, sculpture of the shoes, making of the mold and armature which allows to bend the feet (metal, aluminum wire and magnets), making of hands (aluminum wire, silicone)
